Hello, i have been on bonanza for over a month, with about 70 listings. Over this period i had 8 views.
I have a free plan and i was planning to get some sales in before upgrading.
Unlike etsy there are no tags if i understand correctly, so the title is the only thing that must contain information for being found.
Did anyone start with a free plan and got some sales?
With 8 views a month I am not sure i should even persist….

I think the big thing with Bonanza is most of the advertising you must do yourself, same as other sites but more so here. eBay may have a ton of traffic, but it also has a ton of problems. Here on Bonanza I have had no problems at all, it is easy to list and even if I have no sales I have a free booth and I use that to market my items. I sell in a few different locations and have done so since 1998, Bonanza is by far one of the best ones, it just needs to get the traffic here. However, as with any business advertising is up to the owner. I have over 1600 items and list new ones daily, advertising on social media, various websites & of course my other web stores. For me it is a hobby and I greatly enjoy it. There are some great people here and many have some great ideas, there are even ones who do FREE banners and such. Great community. Good luck to you!

Welcome to Bonanza,
If you have been a seller on Etsy, you already know about seller services. The same is true here on Bonanza. This is the new Bonanza, and the new Bonanza is all about seller services = pay to play = webstore/membership levels, advertising levels PLUS do all your own advertising & promoting. I have had a free booth on Bonanza since I joined but have had but a handful of sales over the past 6 years. I don’t do social media so gave the advertising levels a go – tried them all 13%,19%,30% and there was no increase in “views”, using any of the advertising levels, so best to just stay with the 9% that is supposedly sending your listings to Google Shopping.
I’d not be putting much stock into the “views” stats on this venue as those stats are skewed with “projected” views, so really have no merit.
Successful online selling is about the product, the quality, uniqueness, supply & demand, target market, etc, and not all selling platforms work for all things. There are many successful sellers on Bonanza just as there are on any marketplace but the seller has to make it happen.
Good luck & happy selling!

If you want your items to show up in Google Shopping (where most Bonanza shoppers come from), make sure that you have set your advertising rate for at least 9% commission. If you use the standard 3.5% commission rate, you won’t get as many views or sales, since shoppers will only find you through Google organic results (non-shopping) or by searching directly on Bonanza.

Stick with your free booth and follow what ArtistsUnion has posted above. She has posted some great resources. It takes some time to build up your business here. It isn’t costing anything to list and your selling fees will be less than elsewhere. If I were you and had the inventory, I would continue to list items. Nothing brings views to your booth like new listings. It wakes up the sleeping giants of the search engines and gets you noticed. Lots of luck and “persist”. :)

I agree with the above, each time a new item is listed in my booth the views increase, if I do not list anything over a few days the view will drop a lot, hope this helps.

It is the first of many jumping tv channels, a real [URL removed] publishing project for a future “sky” of the web.

You should promote your goods. This is an obvious thing as students use this service [URL removed] to make their life easier.
