My items dont sell on bonanza

I guess my items just dont appeal to shoppers here. I am only keeping my items here so I can easily list them on ebay. I know they may be a bit too expensive for this market place. Anyone have any suggestions for a better venue for my handmade jewelry. Thanks Anita

Though this is not completely the right answer but this may be helpful.

Some of the background and surrounding areas are too bright, etc, for the actual item in the picture. When I look at the pic, I’m not really noticing the jewelry like I need to. For example, This listing [URL removed]

I’d also look into getting a banner and avatar made. The avatar that is there now takes away from the jewelry in the picture and does not portray the beauty of your jewelry.

Being over here on Bonanza, there are not as many shoppers as places like eBay, so each booth tends to have to push harder in bringing out their best I believe.

Your descriptions look nice to me. Some titles have commas in them and Google does not want punctuations in titles.

Good luck. You have nice jewelry. I added one to my wish list.

I have heard 2 versions re Google and punctuation. The latest is that punctuation is not picked up by Google anyway, and that it is good to use to help the customer reading the listing. So do YOU just eliminate all punctuation from your titles?

I also sell handmade jewelry. Most of my sales have been from Bonanza members.

Do you promote your booth? It is necessary to do this on bonanza, you need to tweet or pin the items

What i have also done is I turned to facebook groups, there are SO many handmade jewelry groups you can join to sell your items., and I made my own facebook page, that would be an option for you also.

Good luck to you, your jewelry is lovely.

Hello [URL removed]

How long have you been here? I give a venue at least a year to evaluate if it is viable. If you want to stay, then why not spend some time each day in the forums? There’s a Deals and Promotions forum also. Do you visit other shops and say hello in the chat window? Spread yourself around here more.

I agree with EmpressDepot about some of your listing pics needing adjustment. But I will say that while some of your default images need toning down, because of over-exposure (too bright whiteness), overall your booth is bright and cheery, a great positive! Better for images to be slightly over-exposed than dark and blurry. But as EmpressDepot says, the details and beauty of your handmades cannot be seen with over-bright, harsh exposure.

I get so frustrated sometimes, because I have to really work with some of my images to show them in the best light. It’s so time-consuming! I’m working towards learning to take better pics so they won’t need as much editing. I use a PS camera, and I have years of experience, and it’s still challenging sometimes.

As far as your price points, I think they are ok. If you want to also attract a lower-price-point-crowd, why not create a clearance/bargains category? I always add one. Add some of your lower-price-point listings there, and reduce the prices. Also, create some quick and easy products, that will introduce customers to your skills, especially for the bargains category. Price-points would be low enough for them to try your products. Put trial-run and mock-ups products, at very low prices, in here as well, but explain why you have put them there so customers will be aware that they are buying a product that did not pass quality control.
