As I understand it – Euros will be exchanged into $$ automatically
when it’s deposited into your bank account.
At least that’s how it worked with sales of mine.

You will have to contact the seller and ask if they accept Euros….the seller will have payment preferences in their paypal account settings…
If the seller does not want to accept Euros, you will have to pay the currency conversion fee when you purchase. These options are between buyer and seller and are not part of bonanza’s set up

“… i want to pay in euros. how do i change this setting please?”
It’s not up to You, it’s the seller, who can send You a payment request for the amount and in the currency You both have agreed before the purchase.
You should ask the seller earlier, if She/He would accept Euro.
As TrinketBox said, try it now, maybe You will be able to work it out.
If the answer is positive, the seller will open PayPal “Send & Request Payments” page, add Your PP e-mail address, then write the required amount and from the drop down menu choose currency – EUR and click on the “Request a Payment” blue button.
