New fees/ai response to comment

So in the email we received, there was a link with questions or comments, so i sent a message saying I hoped it would get to the correct deaprtment about the new fees. I got an AI response saying the new fees were it and they are not making an exception for me! So, don’t bother sending a message, because a human will not read it.

Has anyone else calculated what their fees would be with the 20.00 charge? I just took my last two months and found [URL removed]

[URL removed] 5 sales totaling 90.00. My fees were 12.27. Now if we added a 20.00 fee to that, my fees would have been 32.27, which is more than 35%!!! Then we have paypal fees on top of that!

[URL removed] 315.00 in sales with 45.03 in fees (I had one really nice sale last month which shot my total up) which is just under 13%. Add the 20.00 in and my fees would have been 65.03, which is almost 21%, then again, add paypal fees and we’re still talking 25% in fees, making this now the most expensive platform to sell on.
Does anyone have enough sales to where even with 20.00 in fees, the final % is still reasonable?
I have 8500 items, so the .03 per item wouldn’t apply and I’d have the 20.00 fee.

I closed 2 of my booths as I haven’t had a sale on them since the new owner took over. I have kept one booth open as I only have 40 items in it. I don’t make enough sales to pay a $20 fee every month.

10 sales = $715
Balance Due = $65

1.2k Listings.
Will never pay Bonanza $20 for listings.

Every one of those sales would have happened on OtherBay if it did not show up in Google Shopping on top from the 11% we paid here.

Truth is 13% + PayPal Fees I guess it is time to remove even the few 49 we have left here.

Bonanza had ONE thing going for them and they are trying to take it from themselves.

Yeah, the owner could be described as a venture capitalist. He is looking to buy other businesses regularly based on his linkedin.

I hope other people take the time to do the math. 20.00 doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you figure the % based on sales, it’s ridiculous.
