Almost a week of posting my items for sale here. For disappointment, not a single view is recorded. I have set the advertising commission to 19% as well. So even that no views? Why is this happening?

Don’t get discouraged. It takes a while for the views to show up, and even then you’ll find Bonanza is quite slow compared to other platforms. Just keep posting a new item every few days (you only have 5 items in your booth – you should have at least ten times that much) and every day go in and manually refresh your booth (under “Selling”/“Add or Edit Items”). Also, have you added the UPC code so that your items will be picked up by Google shopping? That makes a big difference if you’re selling new items that people might be searching for. Also, try to drive your own traffic via social media etc (use the “free referral” link that you’ll find in Selling/Advertise Items, because then you won’t pay any Bonanza fees for traffic that you drive to your booth).

You have to advertise and promote your items on social media, even then don’t expect too much. This is one of the slowest selling sites out there.

I would suggest that you need to add more items and make sure the ones that you have listed meet the preferred Google guidelines. Until this is done whatever percentage you choose will be rather irrelevant. Start out a 9% while you do the legwork- that way your items go to Google which is key. At least once a day update your booth- I start every day that way. It does take awhile to get really going here but the more you work on your booth the more likely that you will be “seen” by Google. And once you start to see activity I strongly suggest a Turbo Pack- We purchased our first one about 2 years ago and have only had to repurchase one time since as your sales will generate the money to keep it going. I hope this helps- it does take awhile but with diligence it will happen. We are here 11 years and do no social media promotion at all, 13% seller fee level and one Turbo Pack. The real key is keeping the Google gods happy :-) Good luck to you and stay safe.
