Paying bonanza fees

I thought we used to be able to pay on a current Bonanza bill that has not come up due yet as long as it equaled to a certain amount….or is this not the case?

But if this is the case that we can pay on it sooner, I am not seeing an area to do this on my current statement?

Thanks from Sharon!

Thanks Veronica. Something must be wrong then cuz I was even trying to get the $1 for the token to apply but it would not. Darn, thought I’d get something out of the way in life lol…no matter how small.

Thanks Veronica. I’m working on it. Getting ready to retired for the night though. Be back later. Have a good one.

Once your Bonanza fees reach a minimum amount of $3, your credit card will automatically be used for payment of those fees. This payment will happen automatically. If you prefer not to wait for automatic payment, then you can manually pay your fees (again, as long as you owe $3 or more) at any time.

However, if you use tokens (in groups of 500), you can pay toward your fees any time no matter what your balance is. Tokens can be used at the equivalency of 500 tokens = $1. So, if you have $2.00 in fees you want to pay down, you would need 1,000 tokens. However, be aware than if your fees are $1.25 (for example) and you wanted to pay all of those fees, it would require 1,000 tokens. In other words, you would be using $2 worth of tokens to pay off $1.25 of fees.

In another example, a fee balance of $0.60 from July and a fee balance of $0.25 from August would still require 1,000 tokens. This results from having to use 500 tokens to pay off July and another 500 tokens to pay off August. Tokens will apply only to a single month’s bill, rather than your overall fee balance.

Okay. So I am over $3. When I click to see Current statement and then when on that page and I click to use up tokens, which I’m right at 500 tokens, nothing happens after that…..there’s no prompting from Bonanza for more clicking anywhere and even when I do not try to apply tokens? ty

You can’t use tokens to pay off your bill. You can only use them by going to rewards and paying down month’s balance. And it only makes sense to do this if the month is over $1.

Not sure if you are talking to me or tom, veronica. But thanks for the tip. What do they only allow? A dollar at a time in tokens out of curousity.

No. At the end of the month, just buy down the whole dollars with tokens; for instance, if your monthly bill comes to $3.27, use 1,500 tokens to get it down to 27 cents. The cents left over will eventually add up to over $3 – then Bonz will charge your CC.

I guess I got it wrong.

I was able to choose to pay early after I received an email from Bonanza that my bill was coming due in about 5 days…so then I was able to pay it early.
