Question about when saving info to notepad

Hello.

When I copy and then paste info into notepad (info from a listing description) and click the save, do I have to exit out of notepad and then open notepad up again or can I just keep it open after clicking save and grab the info right then and there?

Thank you

No, you don’t have to exit out of notepad, you can use it right then and there, but if you do close your work it will be saved because you did save it earlier.

EDIT: @ccmom, sometimes I get started with something and then get interrupted so I might close it and come back later to finish.

I rarely bother to save…most of the time I just open the notepad to hold info..to copy and paste back and forth..just open, use, then dump when I am done..

now my question…is why would you close it after you saved???

Though I do have a main Notepad file saved of all listings
