Questions regarding the pro memberships

Greetings.

I’m still learning the ropes of Bonanza with just a small number of items in my booth. All but three of my listing at that other place have ended. I don’t do as much online in the summer in lieu of flea markets and swap meets making this a good time to make a wholesale change if I’m going to. I understand it will take some time to build up a Bonanza following, but getting away from that other place, at least to some extent, would be nice.

I have a few questions regarding the Pro memberships. First, I’m considering a Pro membership mainly as a means of managing my inventory via the ‘Inventory Tracker’ feature. Could someone please give me a rundown on what the tracker actually does? Would it be feasible to manage all my inventory here? How easily can individual items be found [URL removed] if I sell something at a flea market and need to remove it from Bonanza is that a painstaking process or just badabingbadboom? What information does the Inventory Tracker manage; is it customizable? Perhaps for $17 dollars a month there is a more powerful inventory manager elsewhere that I could use and just continue here with no membership? On the other hand, if the Inventory Tracker will do what I want, is it feasible to utilize Bonanza as my online store front and inventory management system for all aspects of my business? Any suggestions?

What is ‘Merchandise Sync Pro – auto sync your inventory file via ftp’? What does it do?

What is ‘Daily Auto Sync – sync inventory from ebay’? What does it do?

Thank you in advance for any insights.

Hello, and welcome. I would suggest waiting to buy a membership until you have been here awhile and have more items in your booth. To delete items is very easy, there are 2 ways to do it. Click on sell on bonanza that will give you a screen with your listings, type in the search box the item you are looking for (won’t be necessary until you have many more items). Hover your mouse over the picture and the option to delete will be there, click, confirm and you are done. You can also go to update items as a group. The Ebay cync is for sellers that upload their items to Ebay from Bonanza (all Ebay fees still apply) plus you have an additional Bonanza fee. I don’t know anything about the inventory tracker, but we have anywhere from [phone number removed] listed (4 booths) and we don’t seem to have a problem with keeping track of everything. We just need to be pro-active and make sure if something sells elsewhere we delete from the other sites immeditiately.

Thank you. Very helpful. Why four booths?

We have many like items, so we decided when the numbers became in the hundreds to separate them into different booths.

Keeping up with deleting is not much of a problem..just follow A2z’s suggestions. I too, recomment not purchasing memberships until inventory is increased, booth is somewhat established and the sales actually justify the cost

The inventory tracker, I believe is not what you are thinking, it is more a listing and not a real tracker within the site..A list of your inventory that you can save to a spreadsheet, or print

You can filter for particular groups/categories in Update Items as a Group (batch edit) to check your stock or print..but again not a ‘tracker..that will automatically update your booth’

Welcome to Bonanaz ;)
