So how am i notified of a sale?

I made my first sale – woohoo! – after far too many months, and I almost closed my store yesterday.

I did get an email from Bonanza but didn’t find it until 4 days after the sale when I refreshed my email feed. When I go into Bonanza, shouldn’t there be SOME indication on “My Booth” that something sold? The only identifier on the My Booth page was a (1) next to “Feedback,” but nowhere else. If I hadn’t finally seen that email I still don’t think I would know I had a real sale. What am I missing?

You should get an email from the payment source, Paypal, Amazon or google.
If you go to “My Bonanza” a sale will show up at the top, it only stays there for
24 hours. Not sure what your email feed is, but I get emails directly to my email accounts from Bonanza showing a sale.

One senario is that the buyer may have put the item in their cart and not checked-out until a few days later, the date on the purchase would be the day they put the item in the cart. So there may not have been a delay in you getting the email.

Congratulations on your sell. That is definitely something to be excited about.

In 4 days it disappeared from your My Bonanza page. Click on My Bonanza, look down the left hand column for “items sold”. Click it and it will take you to your transaction. Under the buyers name click on “Contact Buyer” (or something to that effect), and thank them for the purchase. Ship it asap. :)

One other way you can detect a sale from you “My Bonanza” page is to look at “feedback”. Each new sale will result in the number in parentheses changing to indicate you need to leave feedback for that transaction.

And, the notification on the “my bonanza” page disappears after 24 hours like A2Z stated above.

A buyer recently made a purchase from us with Echeck through Paypal. We received no notice of the sale on Bonanza nor was the item removed from our booth until 4 days later when payment cleared. When we discovered the sale we had to manually reserve the item from our booth and now regularly check “open negotiations” in our Bonanza transactions for sales that would otherwise go unnoticed. It is a good idea to check whatever email account you have linked to Bonanza on a regular basis also as A2z4u2c stated for notices of payment from PayPal or Google.

I do hope in the near future that Bonanza will create an app that will notify us. I do still sell on eBay and if a sale is generated my phone will make a “cha ching” sound.
