I see that the “Recent Question Answerers” widget in the righthand sidebar is now showing EVERYONE who answers questions, instead of only those who have minus 25 pts.
When I first joined, it was acting strangely. At first when I answered questions, I would see my avatar there, until my reputation points rose above a certain level. Then I noticed that no one who answered questions, and had more than 25 pts, ever showed there. I checked for members with many more pts than me, and who answered questions, and they were not shown either. I did contact support about it.
So thanks, Bonanza, for correcting this. It IS promotion, and every member who takes time to read and answer questions in the community should be represented, not just a few.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
