Upc lookup site

Does anyone have a good site to look up UPC codes with just the item name? We have been using Yoopsie for years, but the site is down and I don’t know if it is gone for good or will be coming backup. The sites I have searched for have too many steps, are inaccurate or you need the UPC number to find the item.

Yoopsie is the only one I could ever find worth anything..

but most of the time I just search google shopping, and get the UPC, mpn from listings all ready there. Only time that doesn’t work is if I have a hard to find, rather unique item

Yes, this is a great site. You need to register for the site to be able to use the text string search ( item name) and other features, but it is free and a super site.
You can also add a upc number to the database if it is not there.

Thanks for the site info. I did bookmark it. Just haven’t signed up yet. Yoopsie came back up

I’ve used upcdatabase for a couple of years. I don’t know if you have to sign up to look up stuff, but you do if you want to make entries. I often enter stuff when I’m there, if I look for it, don’t find it, but I do know the number. I’ve never had any troubles from signing up for it.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
