Upc and mpn????

HI there
Just wanted to ask about the UPC and MPN, what alternate do we have if these numbers are not available or is it good practice to leave them black if not available. Thanks in advance for your help.

Internet searches and google product searches for the same items is a good place to find upc….I usually find them in google product searches..

There are also several upc data bases on line in which you can search for upc’s also

if the items are not new, handmade or are older than when upc existed..then you can leave it blank and [[identifier_[URL removed] will be inserted into your feed automatically for any of the missing three attributes required by google.

Ah, the age old question again about Google REQUIRING a UPC and MPN
(Because everything Google has a UPC and ALWAYS DID).

First off, don’t leave them blank. Google don’t like that.

Unless things have changed, I was instructed to put the following into both the UPC and MPN field if it does not have anything.

identifier_exists

Just the way is is spelled above with the underscore between the 2 words.
(While this makes NO sense to me, neither does Google logic).

I am the manufacturer of my handmade items so I create my own MPN. As for UPC, I had been told to use [[identifier_[URL removed] I have been leaving it blank because I forget to use it. Don’t know if it makes a difference or not. Can someone please advise me on this? Thanks.

Margie, if you leave it bland, the attribute you mentioned will be added by Bonanza automatically..
