What is the difference between the item report dashboard and booth sorting by popularity

Hello Everyone,
My booth has been on Bonanza 5 weeks now with no sales yet. I am new to on-line selling so am willing to learn what I need to do to attract the right buyers to my vintage jewelry and decor shop. I appreciate that I have found some good answers in this community to questions I had at the beginning. One thing I don’t yet understand is why the item report for my dashboard lists a certain number of views for each item, but when I look at the way those items are sorted by the “popularity” option in my booth, they don’t really match up. For example, there are 2 items in the popularity sort that consistently stay in the #1 and #2 spots, but in the item report there are 2 completely different items at the top of the list. The lists don’t really match even taking into account that the item report clears after 30 days. I am also interested in any tips for attracting vintage buyers. Thank you! It is wonderful to see so many helpful people in the community.

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hi ChicandMerry,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to Bonanza! Sorry for any confusion. The booth sorting by popularity will often times be related to the items which are categorized in highly searched categories, such as “Jewelry” or “Handbags.” Since these are categories which are popular for shoppers, items listed in those categories will be sorted higher in your booth if you have the sort by set to “Popular.” This does not always directly correlate with specific item views in your booth.

Hope that helps to clarify. Let us know at support if we can be of further assistance. Happy selling!

Since you are starting out you may have to set your advertising at a higher level on here.also sign up to take as many forms of payment, as you can.
Social Media is a good way to advertise. Set up a page for your booth on Facebook. It’s free to do that.
Right now is kind of a hard time to sell vintage anything, since Christmas shoppers are mostly looking for new stuff for gifts, electronics, toys etc. That’s why the Facebook page would help you reach people who love vintage.
