When you edit an item and click on “Upload another photo…”, you can either drag an image into that photo area or you can navigate to the image file located somewhere on your computer’s hard drive. Your computer doesn’t care if the image is “old” or “new”, as long as it is in the correct image format – either JPG/JPEG or PNG. Make sure that it is NOT a web address that takes you to a photo on the internet somewhere. Those will not work when editing or creating a new listing. Internet links to photos can only be used (and MUST be used) when doing a CSV file upload.

It’s possible that your computer is displaying previously used images (thinking you want to re-use them), but you can still navigate to other image locations to upload different images.

To Answer Brilliantly

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
