I know it’s says within 24 hours but it’s been longer than that and was wondering if there was something wrong.

Wholenewworldart, make sure you have something in your booth, it wont go active if you do not anything ready for sale. If you do and still having trouble activating, contact support

Sometimes it can take longer than the 24 hours. If you are selling high end or high risk items your booth needs to be approved. You can contact support and let them know you are waiting for your booth to be approved and it’s been longer than 24 hours.
