Can anyone help me set up a business page on Facebook? I have a profile page but would like a business page, or some other page for my craft. I tried setting it up using the Local Business or Place, but I have to enter my name, address and phone. Really don’t want all that on FB, but if I must, I must. However, when I add my phone, it always tells me the number is not valid. I’m thinking I can use one of the other choices; Company, Organization or Institution; or the Brand or Product. I don’t need my personal information on the other two. However, do they work the same as a business page? Can I advertise the same way as I would with a business page?
Thanks for your help.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
