Here’s my best guess on why your items may not be on Google Shopping…

Google Shopping requires that you have at least 2 out of the 3 product identifiers for each of your [URL removed] MPN, UPC, and BRAND.

Here’s what I noticed when I looked at a random selection of 10 of your items — you have “Unbranded” in place of an actual brand name. In addition, it appears that you are using your supplier’s SKU number in place of the actual manufacturer’s part number (MPN). Since Google can’t match up the SKU number (since it is unique to each supplier) and you don’t have UPC codes listed (Bonanza doesn’t have these in all of their categories), and your Brand is basically unknown, then they may be ignoring your Google feed from Bonanza.

Without having at least 2 accurate product identifiers, Google Shopping won’t list your items (there are exceptions for some categories of items).

The suggestions you are making are good but the fact is that there is a problem with the Bonanza feeds to Google that has still not been fixed. That is why “unbranded” and gtin numbers are there instead of mpn etc. I know because we are going throught his right now- no sales for 2 weeks

Eve_Tech says: November 20, 2015

tomwayne1 , i am not a first time using bonanza .

Eve_Tech says: November 20, 2015

i made good sales with google shopping before they stoped publishing my items , i have all the needed identifiers google needs. so its clearly no the problem

Once I’ve been told here on this forum that my items can’t be at GS, as they don’t have product identifiers, so I’ve turned off the G. advertising then.

I’ve check now Tom’s link and read this [URL removed] “Where unique product identifiers are required but no such identifier exists for an item (e.g. custom goods), submit the ‘identifier exists’ attribute with a value of FALSE.”

Does somebody have more experience with this kind of items? I would appreciate Your advice.

these are handmade items, vintage, or older books that were made prior to upc or isbn-13 (ie, like your paintings)….you can go to your batch edit Search optimize and use the format [[identifier_[URL removed] This is acceptable when upc, isbn, mpn or a brand does not exist…

ccmom says: November 20, 2015

And will allow your items to appear in google…it should actually already have been done automatically by the site when submitting the feed…but you can check…You will also have to enable the google feed to see the Search Optimize attributes

actually google requires gtin now…but upc can be converted by adding 2 zeros to the front ….

gearseller2 says: November 20, 2015

I think that must depend on the product- mpn #s are accepted for our category- Our batch editor is insane with the partial changes that have been made innacurately to only some of the items etc since this product feed “fix”- told not to bother to make any changes until figured out- not a happy time!

ccmom says: November 20, 2015

you can use mpn…that has not changed..what has changed is that upc has to be converted to gtin…guess I’m lucky…I have no trouble with the SEO in batch edit or fixing attributes

ccmom says: November 20, 2015

when using upc it has to be gtin now

gearseller2 says: November 23, 2015

CCMOM- Thanks for clarifying- we never had any trouble either until 2 weeks ago when feeds to Google Shopping failed but supposedyly got “fixed”- whatever was done mangled our feed

do as tomwayne says and enter your brand or mpn/upc numbers

here are some links to google support for product feed specifications

You will have to sign into google with an account…if you have google analytics enabled in your booth, then you should have a google account

You have asked several times why you could not find your items…several times it was explained to check your feed and make sure you had the information google requires…

I am sorry this happened…good luck
