I’d like to know why my name is never on the list of "Recent Question Answerers?

Hmmm… good question. This is TOTALLY a guess, but perhaps the O.P. has to mark someone’s answer with the appropriate response before it goes to that list of “Recent question answerers”.
I answer a lot of questions, but only have seen my name a few times (and currently not there). So, mark this response as an appropriate response and let’s see if my name shows up on the list.

“Do I have to be an expert to answer a question?”
You don’t have to have an expert in a subject to answer a question, but please ensure to the best of your ability that your answer is accurate.
Include supporting links to back up your position when possible.
Community members will vote on your answer.
If your response gets the most votes, Bonanza’s system will remember you as a trusted resource."
Bonanza has, over time, developed a collection of systems that work together to keep our forums a place free of negative attitudes, and general dreariness.
When forum topics or posts fall into one of the aforementioned categories, it may be recategorized, deleted, or locked (we’ll refer to these collectively as “being flagged”). If the poster of the offending message has shown a negative pattern of behavior, they may have their forum privileges revoked temporarily or permanently.
Bonanza was founded upon the idea of empowering its users and living without rules. These are ideals that we take very seriously, and it is only in cases of extreme necessity that we make rules.
The forums provide prospective users their truest glimpse into the nature of our community, this isn’t a situation where allowing drama or negativity to run rampant is worth the cost of having new users feel upset or even leave.
The Community Boards have proven to be a great source of support for many and a place to share your valuable experiences and knowledge.

I have not seen my name pop up in probably a decade, yet I occasionally answer or comment. I figured because I am not someone who subscribes to the fees here (either that or I am on double secret probation because some of my answers are not liked by the management and get censored here). I would have asked the same question as the OP but I don’t care, all I want are sales here anyway and I don’t get much of that either like it USED to be. Good Luck all

It must be totally random because I just saw a person listed as a “Recent question answerer” who had just posted spam earlier tonight in this very forum. Her name was at the top of the list. Therefore, my conclusion is that it is simply a random algorithm that puts a forum poster on that list. Those Bonanzlers who are wondering what list we are talking about…. look on the right hand side of the main Community Help [URL removed] https://www.bonanza.com/community_help
Fortunately, her spam post was removed by Bonanza soon afterwards.

On today’s “Recent Question Answerers” list there is no one recent answerer (neither tomwayne1 nor OP Littleblackdog), all joined from May 12-15, 2021 and all are profiles without an attached booth.
