I’ve recently notice a big discrepancy in the view count.
I am seeing different view numbers in different area’s.
For instance, there is 1 report that tells me that today there were 2 advertising view, 2 item views. That’s not good, but at least they are views.
THEN in the listing itself, there are 2 different set of numbers. The first at the top by the price in big bold red letters, then if you scroll down to the bottom of that listing, there are different numbers.(This you can only see in your listing.)
I realize, or I think I realize the numbers in red are a total number of views since the listing was posted, and the numbers at the bottom are for only 2 days.
Another example, I listed some cabbage patch dolls last night. Remember as I stated above, total views today have been 2 advertising and items, BUT several of the dolls I listed last night have been view multiple times, not just 2.
I wouldn’t be a whole lot of energy in those reports. I’m just a listing fool and post each day. I figure the more I post, the more I update my booth, the more traffic I will get. At least that’s the game plan.

For some particular items and booths – yes.
But there are also many shops here with good views and sales.

I had 28 and 38 views on 25th and 26th August. Then suddenly there were 0 views for next two days for all items. I am fail to understand this pattern. Why views suddenly dropped to 0. Can some one answer this.

It has been my understanding over the years, that views that sellers see on individual listings include one’s own views such as everytime a seller edits or clicks on their items, this counts as views.Up until Bonanza stripped basic free booth owners of so many of the seller tools and features, sellers could filter out their own views. Supposedly those sellers with memberships or webstores now have access to more accurate stats and ways to filter various aspects of stats. However, I have found that the only stats that mean anything for a seller with the basic free booth are sales stats. Whether 1 view or 20, views mean nothing if there are no sales…
I have had the free basic booth from the time I joined Bonanza and have seen the changes that have taken place. There was a time when I actually had a few sales on Bonanza – that was [phone number removed].I have had 2 sales on Bonanza in the past 14 months, with the last sale being April 2016. These days my booth of hundreds of items, sees many 0-2 views days. Even using an advertising level of 30% has never brought in more views than a 19% level, which rarely brings in more than 6 views…perhaps the occasional 7-9 views….Over the past 30 days, 22 advertising views and a total of 125 views and that is the highest number of views for a 30 day period for 2016,((perhaps due to posting more comments this month than over the entire past 3 years))…
With a free basic booth filled with 1400 item listings and less than 10 views per day, what does that tell you about Bonanza??? There is no traffic to Bonanza unless a seller brings it… I don’t do social media and will not buy into the game of the so-called “turbo traffic”, or any of the membership levels or a webstore. My experience = Bonanza is what it is; not what it was….For me Bonanza has become nothing more than a storage facility for my items for when they are not listed on eBay.
There are many successful sellers on Bonanza but what works for them, may not work for others.Bonanza doesn’t work for everyone or all things just as eBay or any other selling venue doesn’t work for everyone & all things.Sellers need to seek out selling venues and find what does work best for them and their items.
Successful online selling is all about uniqueness, quality, supply & demand, target market and so forth.
Bonanza is what it is; whatever will be, will be…
