Selling an item

hi iv just sold my first item well firstly the postage didnt show up so came up as free postage to usa and im in uk then i went on paypal to claim payment and it said to claim the money the item sold for $11.19 but paypal said to claim it £7.46 gbp surely thats not right i went on the currency convertor and its coming up at $11.91 = £10.28 – $0.88 fees and $1.07 bonanza fees so how come paypal are only tellin me im getting £7.47 any help here plz ill be at a loss

The best thing would be to contact the buyer. Explain that you are in UK and the shipping was not set-up for US. Refund the order in PayPal. If they are still interested in the purchase. Send a separate invoice to cover the extra shipping costs either through PP or though Bonanza

Since bonanza is US based and will default to US postal services meaning any shipping added into the listing will be shipping to US.

If it cost 23.00 USD to ship to US then that is what will have to be put in the listing. See screen shot below

As of now any costs added to your listings are set up for US and will show as USD to US buyers and not UK and all other countries including any UK purchase will come as an Offer to add shipping for approval

Shipping will be from the “point of view” of the US..and all option will be base on that.

To have shipping set from a different location, you will have to use batch edit and set shipping up as “International shipping”

For US (domestic) the set up will basically have to be a flat rate from UK to US and set it that way when doing the listing
