I remember something about this when Google started charging for placement. Can someone point me to the page that explains it? Both of these said there were 0 Ebay and 3 Google (not sure what???) So since they both had 3 Google, it would seem the % would be the same, right? One is a purse and the other a T shirt.

No the fee would not be the same, because the % paid for google clicks…in this case 3 google clicks for T-Shirt and 3 clicks for a purse..
the cost per/click is pro rated according to the original price and to the item itself
one item…the original cost of one is (really don’t know, because you gave total cost) but I will use the cost minus shipping allowance as an example
so 1 item cost $33.88 at 13% is $4.04…so $4.04 is divided up for clicks say 10 clicks so it is about $.40 a click
the other item is $20.91 at 13% which is $2.72 so $2.72 is divided among say 10 clicks will be $.27 per click
so NO the cost/click for each item is NOT the same
Please note this is an example…I do not know the actual number of clicks and how it is divided for each category or item. Items deemed to draw sellers usually have higher price per click

If you signed up for the 13% if the listing was referred to you by Google, your % of fee to selling price is lower than 13% because your item was too low of a price to generate that high of a fee. For instance if you had sold an item for $100 and it was sold due to a referral by Google, you would pay the full 13%, or $13.

I asked a similar question just a few weeks ago. Here’s the response I received from support.
Be happy to help with the commissions. Some ads cost more than others. The higher rank ads with top line placement cost far more than other ads hence the commission may be the same for only 1 or 2 views. But the item may sell much more quickly. Think of it as buying Radio ads. The BTA (best time available) cost more than some of the radio spots at other times. but the exposure is much better too.
It’s frustrating because it’s difficult to plan other than to expect fees to be at the maximum percentage selected, but it is an explanation.

So is it 13% is the highest rate? When I receive offers, I would like to know how much the fee will be and will like to use the highest rate. I have no idea how much the final value fee is here.
