What happened to the edit button on the sales order? specifically need to add tracking info

I know there used to be an edit link/button if you needed to add or change the tracking information. I entered the tracking information for a recent sale and clicked submit. Unfortunately my internet went out during this process and the tracking number did not hold but the marked as shipped did. I need to add the tracking information to the order and have tried all three browsers I use to locate an edit option for the order. NONE of the 3 browsers I tried showed an edit option for the actual sales order. I am using Win8.1 with Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. Can someone please help so my customer will be able to see the tracking information on her order.
Thanks

Go to “selling Dashboard” Then “orders”, then “sales”. Scroll down until you see the order you want to change. The edit button is at the end of the line about shipping. If the edit button is not there than it may not show because you didn’t put anything in the text field.
You can always just email the customer and give them the number that way.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
