1997 Princess Diana Commemorative Beanie Baby Bear
My wife's father gave her this bear in 1997 right after Princess Diana passed. He bought it immediately as soon as the bears were made. Human hands have never touched this bear! It is one of the rarest of it's kind.
- 1st edition - The first bears were made in CHINA, not Indonesia!
- PVC pellets - The original bears were made with PVC pellets before TY switched to PE.
- No number marking on the TY tag or on the tush tag, proving it is a true 1st edition!
- No spacing on the lines of the poem on the TY tag.
- Embroidered rose with pale green stem and white blossom on chest.
You will see these bears selling for $800,000 on other listings. But you can look it up yourself, the most this bear has ever sold for is $15,000. Do not let other sellers fool you.
