Mid Century Modern Wood (Walnut?) Brass Table Lamp with Original Shade
MCM, Danish Style, tall and elegant , the wood is dense and smooth with a pretty grain.
The shade is in decent condition.. the outside looks good with minimal wear, but not new. The texture is nubby fabric.
Looks like the original harp, but I don't think the finial is original,, and it is chipped.. You'll probably want to find a beautiful finial for this lamp.
THe lamp sits on a round, on top of square metal base that I think is brass. Above the wood body is a brass neck that has a row of holes and some little screw in keys,,I've never seen this on a lamp before and I don't know if it is decorative or if it had a practical purpose? The switch is on the socket.
Height 37” from finial to base
Width of shade is 12” ; length and width of square base is 6".
