Vintage 1959 Lot of 2 Woodpecker Woodware and 41 similar items

UP FOR CONSIDERATION: Pair of Woodpecker Woodware mid-century (1959) Wood Kitchen Canisters hand painted design in Japan. Both boxes show outer wear to include nicks, dings, discoloration, but we think it gives them their lovely character. Both boxes have their lids and all legs are present. Both boxes are missing one gold foot cap, but these can be easily replaced. The labels on the bottom read copyright 1959 Woodpecker Woodware Japan. The larger box measures 4 1/2" deep, 5" high and 5 3/4" wide. The lid adds 3/8". The lid overlaps and fits beautifully. The smaller box measures 4 1/4" tall and 5" wide, The box is almost 4" deep. The lid adds about 3/8" not including the knob. Both original knobs are present. The lid fits securely and we just love these boxes with their greek key design etched/painted in black.
