This attractive box was painted by talented Master Marie Mochalova from the village of Fedoskino. Masha Mochalova is a daughter of talented Fedoskino artists Nikolay Zotov and Moiseeva Elena, who is for this moment the chief Artist of Fedoskino Factory. The box features a Magical Cat and all it's friends, including an Female Fairy touching the flowers, as she climbs a vine to meet them. A second Fairy, on the reverse of this lacquer box, blowing his horn as he climbs a tree branch. Making their magic touch and working around many Butterflies. Here she has painted with shades of blues, gold and purples . The main character is the "Magic Cat", climbing his ladder to reach the sky. Gold metal leaf shines through the costumes of the characters. Some other parts of the composition are highlighted with aluminum powder. The lid of the box has pieces of mother-of pearl.
