Descripción del Artículo
OVERSTOCK SALE, 25% OFF, was $40.00
(Internal #MA-10) You are bidding on a simple yet beautifully hand made pendant made of natural BLACK aceh organic material in the Maori style (Hei-matau) fish hook . This hook (same on both sides) is 1-7/8" long x 1-1/2" wide, skillfully wrapped, on a 28" natural braided cotton cord necklace with organic material bead adjustable sliding knot to any length you need. Hook and necklace are woven together, not detachable.
This shape represents strength, prosperity, abundance and fertility. Wearing it is a sign of respect for the sea and its creatures, so it is also regarded as a good luck charm providing protection and safety while traveling over water.
It is also given as a mark of friendship and respect, for guy or gal to wear or give.
The Maori people of New Zealand are the oldest known culture renowned for these graceful designs.
