Aboveground pools can have a very strong return flow that can hinder the E-Z Vac (As well as other suction cleaners) from performing its task of cleaning the entire pool. In some cases, the Eyeball Diverter may not fit the returns on your specific aboveground pool, so in order to resolve this problem Pentair designed a Wire Diverter that is able to perform the same task as the standard Diverter that will not fit the pool return.
