Fabulous handmade antique folk art frame.
Green-gold/bronze colored gesso over wood. This frame is absolutely unique and will add an exotic touch to anything you choose to display in it. 19th century make, probably before the 1880s.
Rabbet is extra wide. Sight is 11 1/2" x 16 7/8". Maximum size picture that will fit is 13 3/4" x 19". So anything proportional within those measurements can be made to fit. (For instance 12" x 18".) Outside dimensions are 20" x 25".
Please note: The frames I sell are true antiques or vintage items in as-found estate condition. Nicks, repairs, oxidation, etc. are common and should be expected. Please examine photos carefully.
