RARE Vintage LA Lakers Purple Starter Fitted Hat Cap Underlined Team Name 1990's If you collect vintage starter hats, you know that these rarely come up for sale. This hat is in excellent pre-owned condition with only minimal signs of previous wear. See pictures...it's very clean. Solid purple with "Los Angeles" in small white letters on front over the word "Lakers", which is then complimented with a broad wide-to-narrow underline. The Los Angeles Lakers basketball logo is on the left side of the hat and the Starter logo is on the back side. It is the motion logo that Starter used in this era. It is the "Starfit" Stretch fit which is common today but was pretty new for the 1990's. It says Size 1 6 5/8 - 7 1/8. HOWEVER, it perfectly fits my head and I wear a 7 1/4" fitted or a Small-Medium in today's New Era stretch fit. The hat is listed at 70% Polyester, 28% wool and 2% Spandex (the sweat band).
