In a goldtone metal, each screw back earrings is a ROUND shape with a Hex Sign Star in enamel on a white background in a cloisonne style! Hex signs are signs and symbols used by some of the Pennsylvania Dutch sects including some Amish and Mennonites. The symbols are put on barns and other places almost as "good luck" symbols. The designs mean certain things. The STAR shapes generally are meant for luck and prosperity. The colors can mean different things as well.
