Maharajah Curry Powder is the highest quality blend, perfect for elevating special meals with its sweet, rich flavor. Unlike hot curry powders, this blend is fragrant with cardamom and features the luxurious addition of Spanish Coupe saffron?a full pound in every 100 pounds of curry powder. It adds glorious color and flavor to chicken and seafood curries. For a fragrant rice dish, saute 1/2 tsp. of curry powder in 1 TB. butter for 2 minutes, then add 1 cup rice, 2 cups water, and a dash of salt. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 18 minutes.
Hand-mixed from: turmeric, coriander, cumin, cardamom, fenugreek, ginger, nutmeg, fennel, cinnamon, white pepper, black pepper, cloves, red pepper, and saffron.
