1799 Georgian Mourning Brooch Woven Hair 9k and 39 similar items

This rare antique Georgian Mourning Brooch is crafted using 9k gold. The woven hair is under the original glass. C clasp and Tube hinge. The hardware works well. The pin stem has waves but is sturdy. This is a small brooch measuring 1 1/8? across to the end of the pin stem that extends beyond the edge of the pin. It is approximately and 7/8? high. The pin fits nicely in the C catch. There is a touching memorial inscription on the backside, year 1799 with the name Harriot Wright who was 14 years 8 mons. Please see photos.
