Livio Seguso (Italian, b. 1930) Italian Murano Art Glass Abstract Sculpture 1973
This piece is a vintage gem from the 1970's and it will make a perfect edition to your home. Whether your style is mid-century, modern, contemporary, or eclectic, you will find the perfect spot for this piece of art. Seguso was always very attracted to glass and began his love affair in the 1940's under the best glass making of the time. Seguso opened his own glass factory in 1969 and integrates glass, granite, marble, and wood in his works. This abstract piece is signed and dated on the base and made of a beautiful purple Murano glass.
Measures 13" wide, 4 1/2" deep and 12 1/2" tall.
Weighs 20 pounds, 13 ounces.
