Set contains 25 prints in excellent condition. The cover is also in excellent condition, wrapped in plastic. For his superbly beautiful series of 435 life-size, full-color paintings of the Birds of America, John James Audubon had won high praise and many honors from the foremost artistic and scientific circles prior to his death in 1851.
