Colorful, whimsical vintage signed and numbered print by listed artist Morton Garchik. Titled Joy in Eden. The framed print measures approx 11.25 x 9 1/8 inches. The actual print measures approx 6 x 5 ".
The metal silvertone frame has some light wear. Artwork came from the estate art collection of a regional artist, approx 24 years ago.
About the artist - Morton Garchik (1929-2009), Jewish American artist, painter, printmarker, illustrator, woodcut artist and author. Educated at the Art School of the Brooklyn Museum. He designed the book cover of Isaac Bashevis Singer's Gimpel the Fool, and his woodcuts have appeared in Harper's Magazine, and a number of other publications. Best known for his woodcuts, his art has been featured in many shows.
