Thank you. ______________________ DESCRIPTION: This is a nice large Japanese Asian art Temple Shrine Lantern lamp. The item is large and has been used for many years as a garden ornament (see photos). The item is made of cast metal bronze (or brass). The lantern is made of several pieces that stack upon each other to form the lantern (see photos). The item is Japanese. The item is made with a Pagoda style roof shape. This is a large item, measuring in total about 4 feet 8 inches or (56 inches) high, and it is about 2 feet 5 inches or (29 inches) wide from side to side between the ornamental elements on the Pagoda style roof. The item is from an estate liquidation. This item is sold in AS IS as found estate condition. The item has a verdigris patina from age and use outdoors. The item has various ornament items that need to be attached or are missing. There are decorative elements on the edges of the pagoda roof that are loose and need to be welded and attached more securely. There is a missing elephant head decorative element in the central section. There is a missing small turtle's head on the base section. The case has some scuffs and some wear. There are scuffs, losses and obvious wear to the patina. There are bends, scratches scuffs and other obvious wear to the metal portions (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
