Chinese Mudman or Shekwan ware figurine, marked CHINA and dating to the early 20th century.
These figurines are also known as mudware, mud figures, or mud people.
They often depict people, animals, or scenes from daily life.
Mudmen figurines were typically hand-molded or pressed into molds and assembled.
The size of mudman figurines can range from 2 to 18 inches, with the 4 to 7-inch models being the most popular for export.
These examples are fairly small and 2 a 3"'tall.
