Beautiful Artistic Illustration from Brockhaus Konversations Lexikon 14 This illustration/print/artwork is a page removed from Brockhaus Konversations Lexikon 14. Someone must have intended to frame it as it was in a lot of postcards I bought years ago. It is 6.5" x 9" and would make a lovely art-print framed and hung in a special place in your home or office. Per Wikipedia - Intarsia is defined as "Intarsia is a form of wood inlaying that is similar to Marquetry. The term is also used for a similar technique used with small, highly polished stones set in a marble matrix as well as a form of knitting."
