You are bidding on this vintage, handmade, pine cone Santa Christmas ornament. This is really a well made and detailed item. I purchase a box of these from a woman who said that her mother made these back in the 60's. I'm usually not a fan of the hand made ornaments, BUT this is great and I couldn't pass it up. It appears that the artist took a large pine cone and removed some of the layers and filled it in with garland. She painted the pine cone gold and then applied various decoration such as buttons, bells, a gift package, mini Santa, tinsel, flowers and holly. The ornament is approximately 6 inches tall (from bottom of the ornament to the top of Santa's hat) and 4 inches wide or in diameter. There is a small gold thread for hanging on the tree. Please look at all pictures, I tried to capture all angles/sides. Please ask questions prior to placing your winning bid. Keep an eye out for the other ornaments.
