Vintage Italian Terracotta Basset Hound Sculpture. Vintage terracotta basset hound sculpture from the mid-20th century. Circa 1950. Made in Italy during the mid century period. Stamped clearly on base 'Made In Italy' A handsome handpainted terracotta sculpture depicts a sitting basset hound gazing forwards He is nicely proportioned and boasts a lovely russet, black and white colors that accentuate his coat. This charming, sturdy sculpture will be a great decorative addition to any basset hound loving home. In absolutelly fantastic condition. There are three small holes in the terracotta, one under the chin ogf the basset hound and two on the base which are needed for the firing process.
