Signed James M. Jim Ward Collection 1991 Tsr and similar items

About the item: This factory set is from the collection of James M. Ward and was sold back in July of 2021 when Mr. Ward was auctioning off mementos from his long and distinguished career in the role playing game industry. Ward's notable works include Deities Demigods, Greyhawk Adventures, Pool of Radiance, Metamorphosis Alpha, Gamma World, and a long stint as the publisher of the industries premier periodical, Dragon Magazine, among many other works. The factory set is from the 1991 release (TSR's inaugural edition of trading cards) and features 750 cards (I presume it is complete - as they are pretty tight in the box so it does not look like any would be missing... but the set is sold as is - the cards are out of order and I seem to remember they came that way originally). The first card in the set (I went through and found card #1) is signed by hand by Mr. Ward (signed at his 2023 Gary Con appearance in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin). The set includes my personal Certificate of Authenticity guaranteeing the autograph is signed by hand by Ward and further certifying that I purchased it from the auctions featuring Mr. Ward's collection back in 2021... it did not come with a COA originally). Cards look to be in good shape overall though slight discoloration along the white edges (they were glossy on the front but non-glossy on the back) and the box has clear storage wear but it is solid and not falling apart. A Statement about Authenticity/Provenance: Excepting pack-pulled autograph trading cards, CGC Signature Series, signed Sideshow prints, and like collectibles, all autographed items Vault Collectibles sells were personally witnessed, by myself, being signed by the writer, artist, or celebrity in question OR were obtained, by mail, directly from the artist or through their authorized artist representative. Further, art sketches - and most published original art I sell - were obtained directly from the artist themselves.
