This is a rare extra large 1948 Calendar from United Airlines with great graphics, The actual size of the calendar is 28 1/2" long x 16 1/4" across and the graphics measure approx 12" x 16 1/4" and they have excellent graphic color and clarity and from beginning to end they depict: San Juan Capistrano Mission, Sun Valley Idaho, Waikiki Beach, UA Four Engine Mainliner 300 Airplane, Seattle-Elliot Bay-Mt Rainier, UA Mainliner 300-Douglas DC-6 Airplane, Portland and Mt Hood, Yellowstone's Old Faithful Geyser, The Pacific Northwest, United's Great 52 Passenger DC-6 Mainliner 300 Airplane, Autumn in New England, San Francisco's Cliff House and Seal Rock and Catalina Island. The calendar has been rolled up and probably been that way since it was issued as it does not appear to have ever been hung up or used. There is a thin line of discoloration at the bottom from light or sun that is minor and also a few tiny tears along bottom on some of the pages which are also very minor. It is overall in very good to excellent condition. The little "Seasons Greetings" tag at the top is torn but it is not part of any of the calendar pages and looks as though it was meant to be torn off.
