Vintage Round Dome Covered Butter Dish C P and similar items

Up for sale this week is a covered butter dish with dome lid, from the C.P.Co. Dixie is also on bottom imprint in blue. It measures approximately 8 3/4" wide and 4 1/2" tall with the lid on, the center plate is 4 7/8" across the middle where the butter sits. I'm not sure of this company, I couldn't find this exact logo. It is in good condition, no chips or breaks, but does have some crazing and discoloration in plate. There are some minor scratches and gold trim rubs. It is a beautiful design, with a pink floral pattern and trimmed in gold. Each piece also has a gold laurel wreath on it. They look to be made before the 40's to me, possibly from the 20's or earlier. I have other sets from then and they seem to be made of same fragile looking porcelain. Wish I knew more, they were purchased at an estate sale in West Texas. I have many items for sale and I can't be an expert on them all, so please email with questions before bidding and I'll try to answer you. I don't sale any items that are damaged without pointing to the flaws, but I am only human.
