Sale includes:
-14k solid gold dip pen nib. Marked "Edward Todd Co. No 3, and PAT".
-Gold filled retractable mop holder. Marked "3".
-Handle which looks to be celluloid as it is a semi-transparent yellow color.
-Double latch hinged case.
AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES THE NIB HAS TESTED 100% AS SOLID 14K GOLD.
The pen is 5 7/8" long when not extended. It extends to 6". The case is 7" long.
Condition: The celluloid handle is in good shape with no cracks or chips. The mop holder is in good shape with no issues found. The nib may need adjusted etc. Please use your best judgement. The handle comes out of the mop holder easily. The case has some signs of age as it is very old. Both of its latch hooks and loops are still on the case and functional. Everything could use some cleaning if wanted.
It will be protected well and insured.
