You will get the 60 day runtime on the low setting only. 6 D batteries will be included, just not shown in the pictures. I am the Original owner. Works fine. these units are rain tight only. please don't completely submerge them in water. To get the strobe function you push the button down and hold for 5 seconds. It will then flash an S.O.S. code.
