I have no idea when this beautiful box was handmade, but it is absolutely gorgeous and the old grass style hinges with the flat screws as well as the velvet fabric lining date it way back. this should be sent off to Southerby?s probably.
There is no hasp that locks the box, but the box does shut very tight so the woodwork was absolutely incredible
