Descripción del Artículo
? Yellow Buckeye (Aesculus flava) is a native deciduous tree from Illinois and the eastern United States. This listing is for one young plant, 1–2 years old, 4–8 inches tall. The plant will be sent with roots wrapped in moist media during dormancy (September–May) or in a small container with soil once it has leafed out (May–September).
? Yellow Buckeye is admired for its tall spring flower clusters, reaching up to 6 inches, and its brilliant yellow-orange foliage in fall. Mature trees can reach 60–80 feet tall with a spread of 25–35 feet, making it an impressive shade tree.
? This species grows best in acidic, moist, well-drained soils but can adapt to alkaline, dry, or wet conditions. It is hardy in U.S.D.A. zones 4–8 and thrives in full to partial sun. While leaf blotch may occur, the tree remains a desirable native landscape species.
? Formerly known as Aesculus octandra, Yellow Buckeye is a valuable tree for large gardens, naturalized landscapes, and native plant collections. Its seasonal beauty and tall growth habit make it a striking addition.
? Your order will arrive in good condition. If any issues occur upon receiving order, contact us the same day with a detailed description and photos so we can assist you.
