If you're in need of a drive for the 96100-0W640 CD6 radio in your 2007-2008 Hyundai Santa Fe because of CD Error messages, Bad Disc messages or basic load and eject problems, you've come to the right place. This is a brand new CD6 drive mechanism (mech). This is ONLY guaranteed to be used in Clarion manufactured Hyundai CD6 radios with part number 96100-0W640. We have provided a picture of the drive. It is in your best interest to pop the top off your radio and make sure this is the drive you have if you have ANY other radio or vehicle. It might look like the drive used in Nissan and Ford radios but it does NOT work in those. Instructions for installation or removal are not included. If you do not feel comfortable attempting this replacement or are not qualified to perform the replacement you should seek an electronics shop that will do it for you or ask us about sending it in for us to do it. We can tell you that you MUST disconnect the negative battery terminal (or remove the plugs from the back of the radio) and let it sit for at least 60 minutes BEFORE you attempt to do any work on the radio. Failure to do so can result in a short within the radio. We've had many reports of it from people who ignored this caution. Don't be one of them!!
