The product is a a vintage or antique clothes brushes with long wooden handle, given by Dawes Lumber in Greenville, Pennsylvania. They made hard soft wood lumber.This brush is designed for cleaning and grooming clothing, and was made in the United States with a pat. no. on the brush. It is long measuring 15" long; it has a 7" brush on the bottom for clothes and on the tip of the top a 1-1/2" brush possibly for hats or shoes. it is shaped like the oval end of the brush.
The brush is in excellent condition with a small amount of wear; On top it says: J. E. Dawes Lumber Co., Hard and Soft Wood Lumber, Greenville, Pa. and was a promotion given out to customers.
